The search for the perfect home is super exciting yet it can get tiring and frustrating when you do not find exactly what you are looking for. You certainly need patience, and the truth is that it might take months if not years to find your perfect home, but do not be discouraged, we are here to help. I would like to suggest some apps that could facilitate the search process for you. But let me remind you, we agents have the opportunity to find homes off the market, through private networks or by word of mouth from our teams and personal connections.

Zillow, Compass, Trulia & Redfin: These are the most commonly used, they show all types of residential properties for sale whether that be sale by owner, by agent, foreclosures and auctions

Credit Karma: this app is great for finding your credit score, it is free to use and it will not affect your score each time you check. The better your score the higher the chances of getting a good loan.

CO Everywhere: It helps you discover more information of the neighborhoods you are considering. The app pulls realtime data from social networks like Instagram and Twitter to suggest great places to eat, sites to see and local events.

HomeSnaps: unlike Zillow and such, this app helps you find detailed information of homes already sold and current estimated values.

Bigger Pockets: provides daily news on the condition of the market and gives advice for those considering to dive into the industry of real estate as investors.

Xome: great app for investors looking to buy properties for less with the purpose of reforming. Posts auctions directed from MLS (a multiple listing service for real estate agents) and some others are exclusive to the site.

Realtor.com: find realtor news, tips on interior design and news on the market daily.
